Online support for parents

Having conflict in your family is exhausting.

It’s OK to need support.

The Connective Parenting Hub is here to help you create a better connection with your child and to restore calm in your home, whether you’re a birth parent, grandparent, adopter or carer.

Our Hub Member Community

Being in the hub has given me help and advice ongoing when I need it. It is the ongoing support to reflect and grow that makes this work. NVR is a journey. The support, not just from Sarah, but from the other members is second to none.

You can share your bad days and your positive moments and someone is always there without judgement. Sarah always comes back to you with her fantastic knowledge and support. I would highly recommend the hub

Parenting can feel lonely, especially when dealing with conflict.

Looking for a 100% judgementfree space to share with and learn from others who ‘get it’?

This is why I created the Connective Parenting Hub.

You don’t have to be struggling or at crisis point to benefit from the Hub. We offer support and useful resources to EVERY parent and carer, so you can parent confidently and help your child to thrive.

Develop your relationship with your child

The Hub has, at its heart, the principles of non-violent resistance (NVR). NVR focuses on developing the relationship between the parent and the child by raising the parental presence.

NVR is never just about dealing with violence. It can be used for any kind of conflict. In fact, there doesn’t have to be conflict before you start using this approach – it’s about creating a strong bond with your child.

Get live support from experts & the Hub community

Join the Hub and you’ll be part of a supportive community of parents, with access to expert help and advice on a whole load of different topics.

I’ve invited some incredible experts from my network to become regular contributors to the Hub.They bring their own specialist knowledge and, often, lived experience too.

You can meet our specialist experts below!

Welcome to the…

Connective Parenting Hub

I created this monthly membership with care to help you as parents and carers to build a better connection with your children.

I get it. This is the space I needed when I became a parent, but the space just wasn’t there. So, I built it myself.

I don’t want you to struggle. You don’t have to be alone on this one.

In the Connective Parenting Hub, you’re surrounded by people who get it and others who understand what you’re going through.

Welcome to our incredibly inclusive, warm, judgement-free community where you can get the support you need without ever having to worry about saying or doing the wrong thing.

“The change in our child was almost instantaneous. They responded very well and the violence reduced very quickly.
We have consistently used the Connective Parenting approach ever since and now we hardly ever have violent rages from our child but when we do we are better equipped to deal with them.”

I’m Sarah Fisher

I spend my days coaching parents and teaching professionals the Connective Parenting NVR approach.

I discovered the approach because I needed it within my family setting but it has now become a way of life, and the way that I try to approach everything.

I’m not perfect, I don’t always manage it and I certainly don’t get it right 100% of the time, but as much as possible it is now my ethos and my approach to life.

It has become second nature and has had a big impact on my family.

Ultimately as a parent and a mum I wanted to create a really strong bond with my son and help him grow in to the amazing young man that he is growing in to.

I found out about this approach when things were very difficult in our family life, and it really did change things. Since then it has been my passion to share this approach with others who need it too.

It’s not a magic wand – it took months of hard work to get there but we have and I don’t recognize the family life that we have now compared to the one we had all those years ago.

Back then, I didn’t believe this was possible. It is.

Once you sign up, you’ll get access to our Members Area. We’ll email you all the details you need to help you get started. We also have an app which you can download to your device for easier access – it’s new, and a work in progress, but it’s getting there!

We have tech support on hand to help you if you get stuck – so technophobes fear not – we’ll make sure you can access everything you need to, easily!

Does this information you’re sharing work for everyone?

Yes, everything that is shared within the group, whether about NVR or from one of the other experts is based on relationships and our brain’s natural way of working, so it works for everyone, including those with special needs.

Is the hub only for parents at crisis point?

The earlier we start to resolve any difficulties you’re having connecting with your children the quicker we can change it. By using NVR, you will be creating a strong bond that will help to reduce potential future issues.

How does the membership work?

Membership of the hub is by monthly subscription.  The monthly subscription is taken automatically until you cancel your membership.

Can I cancel at anytime?

Yes, you can cancel your membership at any time, the contract is on a monthly basis.

To cancel your membership, log into the hub and cancel it directly from your account.

Once you leave you will no longer be able to access the resources or receive discounts on courses or events.

Should you wish to rejoin at any time you are welcome to, however any previous discount will be lost.

How quickly will I see changes in my child if I use the information and resources in the hub?

This is a difficult one to answer because there are so many variables.  Some parents see changes very quickly for others it takes time.  Persistence is the key to seeing change.

Isn’t NVR just for violent children?

This is one of the myths about NVR.  It is often used in situations where there is violence but it’s a relationship based approach and works in all situations, not just parenting.  If you want to build a strong relationship with your child and help them to develop emotional intelligence then NVR will without a doubt help.
