Supporting families

Connective Family can give you the tools and resources you need to support parents and carers. Our Connective Parenting NVR framework draws on a wide range of therapeutic models and so can
significantly help anyone who works with families.

How Connective Parenting NVR can help you in supporting families, parents & carers

It’s all too easy to focus on the short term. A quick win? Perhaps. Effective? No. Connective Parenting NVR provides a long-term solution that works for all family settings – birth parents, foster carers, adoptive parents, kinship carers. It also works within school and residential settings and any environment supporting young people

Connective Parenting NVR:

  • empowers parents and carers and helps bring around real change
  • potentially reduces the need for support over the long term

The earlier families are introduced to the approach the better – waiting until they are in crisis is harder for everyone.

  • RBe more effective
  • REmpower Parents & Carers
  • RHelp families out of crisis
  • RAccess practical resources
  • RReduce the need for support

Boost your CPD & help more families

Get started using the principles of the Connective Parenting NVR approach with our 3step toolkit, just for professionals.

Step 1

Get pro support & training in the Connective Family Professionals’ Network.

Working with parents, carers and supporting families as a professional is amazing, but can feel a little lonely at times. Sometimes you might need a bit of support while you’re busy supporting others. Sometimes you might want to talk to other professionals, ask questions or share your knowledge.

Our professional membership – the Connective Family Professionals’ Network provides that very thing.

For just £15 per month you’ll have access to:

  • A huge library of online training, tools and resources
  • Monthly supervision with Sarah Fisher
  • An online community in the online Members’ Area and/or a special Facebook group
  • The annual Connective Parenting Conference + access to previous years’ replays for FREE
  • Discounts on all Connective Family training and events

and the knowledge that you’re part of a growing network of likeminded professionals.

“The network is very helpful.  There are lots of resources and the calls are interesting, with a range of different people there.  I’ve recommended my team take full advantage of it.
