I’m Sarah Fisher
I spend my days coaching parents and teaching professionals the Connective Parenting NVR approach.
I discovered the approach because I needed it within my family setting but it has now become a way of life, and the way that I try to approach everything.
I’m not perfect, I don’t always manage it and I certainly don’t get it right 100% of the time, but as much as possible it is now my ethos and my approach to life.
It has become second nature and has had a big impact on my family.
Ultimately as a parent and a mum I wanted to create a really strong bond with my son and help him grow in to the amazing young man that he is growing in to.
I found out about this approach when things were very difficult in our family life, and it really did change things. Since then it has been my passion to share this approach with others who need it too.
It’s not a magic wand – it took months of hard work to get there but we have and I don’t recognize the family life that we have now compared to the one we had all those years ago.
Back then, I didn’t believe this was possible. It is.
Got some questions?
Does Connective Parenting NVR work for everyone?
Yes, everything that is shared within the group is based on relationships and our brain’s natural way of working, so it works for everyone, including those with special needs.
If as a practitioner you don’t believe in this type of approach this probably isn’t the place for you.
Is the Network only for qualified NVR Practitioners?
No. Anyone is welcome to join and get support. The network is a supportive, non-judgemental space for those working with families to get the help and support they would like.
The network is based on the principles of NVR so if you believe in rewards and consequences and not looking to change that approach this is probably not the place for you.
How does the membership work?
Membership of the network is by monthly subscription. The monthly subscription is taken automatically until you cancel your membership.
Can I cancel at anytime?
Yes, you can cancel your membership at any time, the contract is on a monthly basis.
To cancel your membership, log into the hub and cancel it directly from your account.
Once you leave you will no longer be able to access the resources or receive discounts on courses or events.
Should you wish to rejoin at any time you are welcome to, however any previous discount will be lost.
Isn’t NVR just for violent children?
This is one of the myths about NVR. It is often used in situations where there is violence but it’s a relationship based approach and works in all situations, not just parenting. If you want to build a strong relationship with your child and help them to develop emotional intelligence then NVR will without a doubt help.
